Start with the exterior of your home, better known as your curb appeal. Inspect the outside of your house from the view of a passerby. What jumps out at you? What great characteristics seem hidden? Knowing this assists us in deciding what measures we can take to attract buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with retouched paint and colorful greenery we'll need to tackle those as well. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and elevate your house's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Does your house seem to say, "This is Your Next House" to a buyer? Looking through your home with a buyer's eye, we'll suggest fixes that build up market appeal. We'll tell you get rid of pieces that give the appearance of clutter. Tabletops should be neatly arranged. Brick-a-brack, sentimental items, family photos, and kids' drawings should get moved out of sight. We can help you simplify the decor of house. Disheveled or dirty places make your home seem smaller and buyers have a harder time imagining themselves calling your property "home".
We'll review every room of your home. Enhancements that directly impact your dollars include easy-to-fix items like furniture pieces that should be rearranged, rooms that need fresh paint, carpet that needs steaming, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need cleaning.
Buyers want to see a home that invites them inside. Personal items that could be "offensive" should be put away in order for your property to achieve mass appeal to buyers.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when to host an Open House, because everything comes together to create a picture of what buyers will expect when they consider buying your house. To counteract darkness is important and we'll open curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests enjoy your home and make sure a pleasant fragrance circulates room-to-room. We'll make use of cozy-looking throws, and throw pillows on your love seat and bed. Buyers should feel like your current house is their future home.
